About

Founder & Director

Alanah Reuter

Texas-born and raised, Alanah Reuter made her way to Pensacola in 2012 to student-assist with the University of West Florida Volleyball Argonauts after several years of coaching club in Houston. During her two years at UWF, she had the privilege of working under Melissa Wolter and Pati Gandolfo, contributing to the Argonauts’ fourth and fifth consecutive Gulf South Conference Championships while continuing to coach club volleyball.

Passionate about working with middle and high school athletes, Alanah completed her bachelor’s degree in Physical Education–Teacher Education at UWF while coaching at Pace High School. In 2015, she founded Coastal Crush Volleyball Club, which has since grown into a thriving program and still serves as owner and director.

Over her career, Alanah has coached more than two dozen indoor teams and five seasons of beach volleyball, contributing to multiple district and conference championships and qualifying twice for USAV Junior Nationals in the Lone Star Region. Beyond the wins, her greatest joy is investing in young athletes—helping them grow not only as players but also as confident, resilient people.

Today, Alanah oversees all operations of Coastal Crush while still jumping in as the “fun aunt” to coach and connect with athletes on the court. She continues to build a program rooted in competitive excellence, mentorship, and a genuine love for the game.

"This club is one of my greatest blessings. Getting to help these kids grow in the sport that I love while also watching them blossom into respected young adults is such an honor."
